What great professional sport person do when they go through bad patches or out of form?
The answer is in getting back to basics. It applies to everyone in every walk in life. We all are guilty of taking things granted when things go right and often get conditioned by the situation. But when things do not go well and become tough, it is difficult to cope with. People start blaming everything other than themselves for their bad condition. No amount of self pity and blaming others will help in overcoming the situation. The more we blame others for our situation, it is clear that we are not in control of our life. Here is the question. How do we win the tough situation.?
1.First things is to accept the situation as it is. No amount of self denial will help. Let go the feeling of victimization. Acknowledgement is key. Do not indulge in gossip. Relax.This is the first step in solving the problem.
2.Step back and do a realistic analyais of situation, its impact on self, family, people around us, business and mostly on finances. Look at the worst case scenario and best case scenario of the impact and time to recover. Honestly list down the things which led to the current situatuon. Seek professional help if needed. Prepare youref to see the real face in mirror.
3.Take care of your health, physical and mental.
4.Get back to basics. Skills, attitude, spending habits, health, time for self and family set everything right.
5.Do not shy away to ask for help. Be honest in conveying your situation.
6.Work on your recovery plan steadily. Work hard. Its the very old trick, still it works. Hard work works...ЁЯСН.
7.Hold your ground, dig in, take the blows, keep fighting and punch back.
8.Have faith. This too shall pass..but do not wait for it to pass at its own phase..kick yourself out of the situation..its your life after all.
